If you lost your SA passport, it was stolen or it expired
then email Adri Du Preez at geassistsa@gmail.com saying you are interested in the possible consular visit on 14 and 15 September. This is by far the easiest, fastest and cheapest emergency passport to get. Emergency passports only allow travel to South Africa and the dates and flight numbers are fixed.
If your SA passport is close to expiry
then you should rather apply for a new one in South Africa or travel to Ankara. Why not use the consular visit mentioned above ? It’s done by an embassy that insists on delivering new passports themselves and they visit Georgia on average only every 3 years (Very unpredictable).
If you want to register the birth of your child born here in Georgia
then you should also email Adri. This is by far the easiest and cheapest way to get SA citizenship for you child.
If you need an ID, drivers license or any other document
then don’t email Adri. Read and post the FB group mentioned below.
